Step into the lively harbour town of Willport with LEGO Bricklink Medieval Seaside Market (910047), a richly detailed display and play set that brings medieval trade, defence, and daily life together in one impressive build. Designed as a seaside castle with a working port and market within its walls, this set flips tradition by making the rear of the castle the true focal point, creating a unique and dynamic display from every angle.

Built from 2,183 pieces including minifigures, the model can be split into four sections for easier handling, rearranging, or transport. At its heart is the main keep and gatehouse, which open up to reveal interior details such as the harbormaster’s office upstairs and a loading and unloading area with a wine cellar at ground level. At the very top, a working catapult stands ready to defend the harbour from incoming threats.

The port comes to life with additional builds, including a wagon used to deliver wine into the market and a small fishing ship for the local fisher. The market area itself is packed with character, featuring multiple stalls run by a blacksmith, a baker, and a travelling merchant with rare and exotic goods. A snake charmer adds an extra layer of storytelling flair, hinting at far-off lands beyond the sea.

Rising above it all is the lighthouse tower, the tallest structure in the set, complete with a large torch to guide ships safely into port. The tower sections can be removed to place crossbowmen inside, while side towers along the walls allow guards to inspect approaching ships and defend the castle.

The set includes 9 minifigures, representing a lively cross-section of medieval life: a baker, fisher, blacksmith, snake charmer, wine seller, tax collector, and three crossbow-wielding guards. While intentionally not overcrowded, the scene is perfect for AFOLs to expand with minifigures from their own collections, making the port as busy as they like.
